بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيم

أَفَلَا یَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ أَمۡ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقۡفَالُهَاۤ

﴿سُورةُ مُحَمَّد ,٢٤﴾

Do they not then reflect on the Quran? Or are there locks upon their hearts?

Surah Muhammad, Aya 24

Undoubtedly, as busy college students, each and every one of us can attest to how difficult it can be to find time to recite the Quran and reflect deeply upon its teachings.

And each and every one of us knows just how much we'll regret every missed opportunity to learn the virtues of the Quran in the future.

so, what can we do to resolve this? well, one way is rely on each other's support to come together to study the Quran as a community!

so, a few of us at UofR MSA are introducing...

Firdaws Circle

An inclusive space for all sisters on campus, regardless of their creed, to understand the Quran together!

Mission

Our mission is to foster an inclusive space open to all sisters of any creed on campus where we can understand the Qur’an together as a community and implement its teachings in our everyday lives.

Aims

• Learn and discuss the meaning of one name of the 99 names of Allah during every meeting
  
• Understand the lessons from Surah-al-Faatiha and around half of Juz Amma (30th chapter) by the end of the academic year
  
• Foster a diverse and inclusive sisterhood dedicated to understanding the Quran and strengthening our faith in Allah subhanahu wa taa'la
